WELCOME TO CITIZENS FOR BETTER COMMUNITY (CBC)

Citizens for Better Community (CBC) is a non-profit community service organization founded in 1992 and is located in Fremont, California. CBC has hundreds of members in the Bay Area.

CBC creates and administers programs in the areas of education, and civic participation including voter education and voter registration. For high school and college students, CBC also provides scholarship programs, internship programs, and youth leadership education programs in conjunction with Toastmasters.

CBC helps other non-profit and multi-cultural organizations in the Tri-City area to start and develop.

CBC seeks to make the Asian American as well as the community at large better by sponsoring and/or participating in activities that fall within the scope of CBC’s mission statement. CBC raises its funds through its Annual Spring Celebration fundraising event. The funds are used to support community needs as well as to cover CBC’s operational costs. People who generously contribute to CBC share its cause and understand the importance of giving back to the community.

CBC Board of Directors and members meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month (currently virtually). General meeting starts at 7:30 pm and regular Board meeting starts immediately after the general meeting.
