2026 - 2027 GAVEL CLUB

THE TOASTMASTERS EXPERIENCE

Gavel clubs are a way of providing the Toastmasters experience to groups who may be ineligible for regular membership due to age, or other circumstances. Following similar Toastmasters club meeting protocols, Gavel clubs use club officer titles and education manuals.

PUBLIC SPEAKING:

Learn by doing: impromptu speaking; body language; voice and words; preparation and presentation.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

Learn together by conducting meetings, electing officers, providing feedback, and thinking on your feet.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

• CBC Members ONLY
  (Membership Application can be submitted here. Please note that membership application and payment are separate from Gavel Club registration.).

• Incoming 7th graders through 12th graders who have completed the CBC Trailblazers Youth Leadership Program (TYLP).

WHEN / WHERE:

• De Sousa House at Holy Spirit Church; 37588 Fremont Boulevard, Fremont.

• First and third Saturday every month from September 5th, 2026 through May 2027 (No Classes in December).

• 11:30 am. to 1:30 pm.
